I make work about the ritualized behaviors and material interactions that that we engage in everyday. Praying, shopping, home decor and erotica, the empty thank you; the habits that make up the quotidian in life are referenced and illustrative of our endeavors to understand, sustain, and transcend our material consciousness.

My work is material, constructed of commonplace home and institutional matter that we encounter everyday. Sponges, the cardboard box, steel barriers, signage and the like, elegant and abject, my work draws connections between, and highlights the spiritual and heroic struggles of the everyday.
